For many people, there is a strong misconception around what coaching is. I've heard a common theme in the following statements:
1) I wish someone could just tell me what to do.
2) If I knew which direction to go, I could get started.
3) I feel so lost/stuck/confused.
Feel familiar? I've been there, too. That mental wheel-spinning is exhausting and frustrating. But, coaches shouldn't be telling you what to do with your life.
My guess is that what you don't need is advice. I'd be willing to bet that you've already talked to family and friends and maybe even mentors about what has you feeling like you're in neutral gear. And, what you've already gotten is plenty of advice. Answers in the form of "you should" and "I think".
What would it be like for you, if instead of advice, you had a partner that helped you find your own answers? Someone that could help you create and stick to your own path.
For some of my clients, all they need is our initial conversation. A chance to safely and effectively identify their own answers. For others, the ongoing opportunity to create and then step forward on a path that is right for them is a valuable use of time.
What happens after the first session?
That is 100% up to you. If you find our sessions helpful and useful, and would like to continue, you can select a coaching package that is the right fit for you.
What if I can't afford coaching?
Your initial session is complementary. After that, it will be up to you to determine the value of the changes you are hoping to make.
